Rethinking Home

What does 'home' mean to someone who has lost theirs?

Home is where you are welcome

As 2018 begins, help refugees and immigrants find their way home through the support of community members like you.

Make an impact on the lives of refugees and immigrants by giving a gift that will ease their transition to life in the U.S., and help them truly find a sense of home in welcoming communities.

Why should I support refugees in the U.S.?

Investment in the community

Investment in the community

Refugees create jobs and contribute to local economies. For every dollar spent helping refugees start new lives in the United States, there is significant economic return to our communities.

Our history of welcome

Our history of welcome

Since 1975, the U.S. has welcomed more than 3 million refugees. Now more than ever, they need your support.

Rapid integration

Rapid integration

Refugees are hard-working, resilient taxpayers. A report in Tennessee showed that refugees have contributed almost twice as much in tax revenue (1.3 billion) as they received in state-funded services. Refugees’ rapid integration leads to a decline in reliance on public benefits.

Children deserve safety

Children deserve safety

More than half of the world’s refugees are children. Children deserve a safe pathway to protection when faced with persecution and violence.

A part of the community

A part of the community

Refugees are a critical part of their communities just like you. Resettlement is already the last resort for individuals who are unable to return to their home countries and can’t rebuild their lives safely in the country where they fled.
